Top one, for me, in my horny little art-heart, could be a sigil-glyphic for sheer mass itself, the hugeness of the idea of machine on a planetary scale, like the system put in place by the Krell (on Altair IV) and the one below could be a sigil-glyphic for the essence of the notion of the collapse of such a system, the implosion of a machine of such mass, a black-hole forming from in-crushing metal, its own obscene gravity merciless
